Smells

I love the way it feels, but the serum smells a little. Rancid

I can wholeheartedly assure you that the oil is not rancid. We make all of our products in small batches with fresh ingredients. The Barrier Repair Serum has no added fragrance or essential oil, so what you are smelling is the natural smell of the oil blend. Some of the oils in this blend are a bit nutty, and some have a classic oily sort of aroma. It is subtle, but if you are used to products with fragrance, it can be strange to perceive this neutral oily scent. It's not for everyone, and that's okay! We have a really lovely Glow Serum that has a touch of Lavender and Yarrow essential oils. The oils are added for their therapeutic properties, but they have the added benefit of giving the Glow Serum a more floral top note. You might prefer that serum. <3 Shelly

This is a wonderful set to get if you are trying out the oil cleanse method. It works really well and I love that there are directions. My face is clean and not dried out.
